Andrii Dykun, Chairman of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council (UAC), took part in the meeting with the chief financial officers of the UNDP (United Nations Development Program) international offices in Kyiv. They discussed the priority needs of the agricultural sector.

"It is important for me that for the rapid development of an efficient agro-industrial complex in Ukraine in the post-war period, international partners rely on the expert opinion of the Ukrainian Agri Council and the Association of Milk Producers on the priority financial needs and tools to support the agricultural sector," said Andrii Dykun.

The meeting focused on the possibilities of international bank guarantees to expand agricultural lending, attract international funds for the development of agro-logistics and exports, as well as powerful agro-processing facilities.

They also discussed one of the main problems for farmers today - the demining of agricultural land, as UNDP has been leading the UN mine action program since 2016 and is a leading partner supporting the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
