Today, on December 5, the Ukrainian Agri Council, in conjunction with the NGO “Business Varta”, held the Anti-Raiding Forum "Business Against the Destruction of the State", which presented courageous cases of seizures of domestic enterprises and discussed mechanisms for counteracting raider attacks.
"There was a resonant case of raiding in the Kherson region. Do you know what the story is all about? The attackers shot the car of Alexander Fedorenko, the legal owner of the trapped farms. Thanks to the police - those who shot, found and planted. An interesting incident in the Bila Tserkva district of Kyiv region was a raider attack on an enterprise with 100% Czech investments. Also well-known is the story of the armed seizure of the Farm Enterprise "Strogogo AF" in the Kharkiv region... The problem of raiding in Ukraine is extremely topical. It is nice that today this event was attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies", - said the head of the UAC Andriy Dykun during the Anti-Raiding Forum.
The event was attended by businessmen and, in particular, owners of agrarian business, representatives of the authorities, law enforcement bodies, people's deputies and lawyers.
Within the framework of the forum, an analysis of the effectiveness of the law-enforcement system was carried out in the fight against raider hunts, specific examples of spin-offs of farms were presented, the problem of imperfect state registries, their vulnerability to external influences and the necessary legislative changes were discussed. Also, the forum participants talked about challenges in the field of cybercrime, the danger of the notary's workplace and the registrar in conducting registration actions and mechanisms of protection.
During the forum there was a public reception, where professional lawyers considered the affairs of the participants of the event, and an open microphone, with the help of which entrepreneurs could write video addresses to the authorities with a detailed description of their problems.
Recall that on September 6, 2017 and August 3, 2018, UAC held the First and Second Anti-Raiding Forums, during which ways of resolving existing cases of raiding on specific farms were discussed, proposals for legislative changes and developed ways of communication between entrepreneurs and authorities were made.
