On June 5, 2018, the largest event of the pig industry - the anniversary of the International Congress "Profitable Pig Production" will take place in the Exhibition Center ACCO International (Prospect Peremogy, 40-b, Alexander Pushkin Park, Kiev).

More than 3000 participants will attend the event! Among them are guests from 30 countries of the world, owners, managers, veterinarians; more than 400 experts, representatives of public associations and commercial companies; authorities and the media.

The first topic for discussion within the business section will be state regulation and support. In particular, the implementation of European standards in the industry, the identification of pigs in Ukraine, as well as the problems faced by manufacturers, starting the reconstruction or the construction of the farm.

Within the next panel discussion, Arthur Loza, President of the Association "Svynari Ukrayiny" will announce the improvement of the epizootic situation in the country through joint efforts of the competent authority and producers.

Participants will also learn about the mechanism of protection of the domestic pork market in conditions of Ukraine's participation in the WTO.

After lunch there will be a presentation of the state and prospects of the industry, as well as a discussion on the topic "Implementation of livestock through auctions", after which the professor of Purdue University in the USA, Dr. Roman Pogranichny will share the experience of swine certification programs in the United States.

The topic of the second technological section will be the decision to improve the performance of sows.

Elena Vasilevich, an expert on genetics, will convince the participants that 98% of fertility is real and Jens N. Jorgensen, a pig feed expert, will give an experience in optimizing sow productivity.

After dinner, the experts in the industry will talk about creating an optimal microclimate, peculiarities of management of breeding youngsters and the peculiarities of modern pig breeding programs.

In the third veterinary section, participants will find out what veterinary challenges should be prepared for pig owners and will take over the experience of growing pigs without antibiotics.

Other important topics within the third section will be:

• Prophylactic and treatment of reproductive problems in sows after fertilization;
• Comprehensive disinfection of farms in the conditions of African swine fever in Ukraine;
• Control of the reproductive-respiratory syndrome of pigs on domestic pig farms;
• Monitoring researches of epidemic diarrhea of pigs in Ukraine: variety of strains and symptoms.
