On Tuesday, December 3, with the participation of Ukrainian and Lithuanian experts, agrarians, public activists, leaders of parliamentary factions and people's deputies, a round table on "Land sale: Ukrainian realities and Lithuanian experience" will take place.

The participants of the event will discuss the process of implementation of the land reform in Ukraine and the vision of agrarians on its realization. In particular, they will dwell on the amendments to the bill № 2178-10 on the land market, prepared by the UAC specialists based on the agrarians' comments and suggestions.

The Deputy Chairman of the Agrarian Committee of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, the ex-Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania Kazis Starkevichus and the member of the Agrarian Committee of the Seimas Aurius Gaidziunas will share their experience of the land reform in their country. In particular, the experts will explain what mistakes Lithuania made during the introduction of the land market and what Ukraine should wary of.

The round table will be attended by : the UAC Chairman Andrey Dikun, the UAC Deputy Chairman Mikhail Sokolov,  the UAC Deputy Chairman Denis Marchuk; the Chairwoman of the parliamentary faction of the political party "Fatheraland" Yulia Tymoshenko, the Co-chairman of the parliamentary faction of the political party "Opposition Platform - For Life" Yuriy Boyko, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Agrarian and Land Policy Mykola Solsky, the Presidential Commissioner on Land Affairs Roman Leshchenko; People’s Deputies Vadim Ivchenko, Ivan Kirilenko, Sergiy Labazyuk and Oleg Tarasov.
