Recently, a member of the Ukrainian Agi Council, the ‘Tychenko’ Farm, located in Bilhorod-Dnistrovsk district, Odesa region, came under rocket fire. The company cultivates 630 hectares of agricultural land and is one of the key producers in the region.
As a result of the shelling, the company's technical fleet was completely destroyed. 14 units of self-propelled machinery and 20 units of trailed equipment, including tractors, seeders and harvesting equipment, were damaged. The warehouses suffered significant damage, with roofs and bunkers destroyed, making the warehouses unusable.
"The scale of the damage is enormous - there is practically no surviving property. Everything we have built over the years was destroyed overnight," commented the agricultural company.
According to preliminary estimates, the company's total losses exceed UAH 60 million.
The ‘Tychenko’ Farm has become another example of how the war continues to destroy Ukraine's agricultural infrastructure, jeopardizing food security and economic stability in local areas.
