From the beginning of the project of agrarian receipts in Ukraine in 2015 and until now, domestic agrarians have attracted UAH 2.85 billion for business development.

In total, 457 agrarian receipts were issued in Ukraine during this period, 285 of which are financial (involving UAH 1.25 billion) and 172 are commodities (involving UAH 1.6 billion).

Kirill Muhomedzyanov, a financial sector specialist at IFC's Agrarian Receipts Project in Ukraine, shared these results, at the V International Agri Invest Forum's Agricultural Investors Conference on May 16 in Kyiv.

"By 2018, in Ukraine there was a pilot project in place, which included several areas. This year, its instrument of financial receipts expanded to the entire territory of the country. During the period of sale 457 receipts (285 financial and 172 goods) were issued ", - the expert shared.

Muhomedzyanov added that in 2018 farmers only attracted 1.7 billion UAH for 275 letters.

According to him, all producers without exception can use the tool of agrarian receipts - from small and medium to agro holdings. Although, this tool focuses mainly on a segment of small players.

According to the IFC, for the 2015-2018 period, the tool for agrarian receipts was used mainly by medium and small farms - 53% and 38%, respectively.

"At the moment, we are working to create an opportunity to use agricultural receipts in livestock, in particular pig breeding and milk production," added Muhomedzianov.
