Today, Deputy Chairman of the UAC Denis Marchuk met with the farmers of the Kyiv region from Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky, Zgurivsky and Boryspilsky districts and discussed with them the problems most acutely facing the domestic agrarian sector.
In particular, farmers stressed the need to intensify the effective transfer of land to the disposal of united territorial communities, since the lack of progress in this issue inhibits the registration of new lease agreements. Agrarians are convinced that the management of land on the ground will help minimize corruption risks, increase the efficiency of land management, and deepen the process of decentralization.
Another important topic for discussion were the shortcomings of this year's program of state support to the agrarian sector. Agrarians insist on the return of a special regime of VAT, since, according to approved mechanisms, funds are distributed manually and due to a significant corruption component do not reach agricultural producers.
On the meeting there were discussed issues of land reform, deficiencies in taxation of the industry, the need to protect against raiding and development of cooperation.
UAC expresses gratitude to Yuriy Pavlushko, director of the "Sosnov" enterprise, for the help in organizing this meeting.
