Agrarians of the Kirovograd region expressed concern about the spread of the "shadow" agricultural market in Ukraine. They noted this during a seminar held by the Ukrainian Agricultural Council within the framework of the international agricultural exhibition Agroexpo in Kropivnitsky.

During the event, it was noted that often land plots appear in the "shadow" lease for cash. The tax burden on legally cultivating 1 hectare of commodity agricultural land is more than 2000 hryvnias, while "shadow farmers" pay up to 100 hryvnias per 1 hectare. As a result, officially employed agricultural producers lose their competitiveness on the market of rental rights in relation to "shadow".

In order to promote the maximum legalization of the agrarian market, the UAC has developed a bill that promotes a uniform payment of taxes by agricultural producers.

During the seminar, the participants also learned how the land exchange will take place to create single arrays, new powers of the united territorial communities in land registration, the limits of actual land use, the maximum terms of emphyteusis, prospects for lifting the moratorium on the sale of agricultural land.

Thanks to the agrarians for an interesting conversation!
