Agrarians of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, whose fields are adjacent to the zone of hostilities, complain about the indifference of the authorities to solving problems, which make it almost impossible to work in the already extremely difficult conditions. In particular, in the last few months, the question of the impossibility of shipment of products from elevators due to the lack of rolling stock and locomotives was particularly acute for agricultural producers.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted among members of the Ukrainian Agricultural Council (UAC), which carry out their activities in the eastern regions of Ukraine.
"The land masses that we cultivate are bordered directly with the area of hostilities. To work there is not only difficult but also dangerous to life. But apart from the enemies of the outside, the enemies of the interior also hinder to work. Thus, in the last few months, "Ukrzaliznytsya" actually blocks delivery of grain carriages at the station "Ocheretino" and "Phenol’na", where our elevators are located. This led to the fact that it is almost impossible to load or sell the crop ", - complains Vitaly Gnenny, General Director of “Beta-Agro-Invest” LLC (Donetsk region).
According to the agrarian company, a number of market operators have already refused to cooperate with the plant at these stations and ship grain from elevators. Therefore, the economy can not put products to the buyer. At the same time, according to Gnenny, appeals to the leadership of "Ukrzaliznytsya" do not bring the desired result - officials ignore the problems of agricultural producers.
"It turns out that we do not buy grain in our elevator, we can not supply it either. We have grown bread, but nobody needs it. To appeal to the officials of "Ukrzaliznytsya" is useless, we are hinted to be quieter, so that it was not even worse. And worse – how is that? Our work is blocked! And we sow, we add fertilizers, pay our shareholders, pay taxes", - added Mournful.
The situation is not the best on roads, according to Igor Litvin, head of the farm enterprise "Myroslava" (Lugansk region).
"The roads are full of collapse, no one has been carrying out repair work for more than four years. In the Svativsky district there are no roads at all as such. At 22 km we can ride an hour and a half ", - agrarian said.
According to him, because of the lack of transport solutions, the economy constantly feels problems with the supply of fuel. "He is either not brought at all, or at a very high price," Litvin said.
In addition, farmers say that they constantly have to deal with the complexities associated with their dangerous neighborhoods. Frequent is the phenomenon when shells are found on the fields of agrarians; the technique explodes in the mines. That is why agrarians urge the authorities to help them in these difficult conditions and at least not to hinder their activity.
Recall that domestic agricultural producers from all regions complain of logistical problems caused by the lack of locomotives. Due to constant delays in the supply of cars, agrarians often break off foreign economic contracts. However, even when enterprises have a private car park, they still do not have time to quickly ship products due to the low turnover of cars. Therefore, the admission of private traction to the Ukrainian market will increase the turnover of grain carriages and the uninterrupted export of agrarian products.
