
On Monday, January 28, deputy chairman of the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC), Denis Marchuk, met with agrarians of Kherson region in Velika Oleksandrivka. During the meeting participants paid much attention to changes in land legislation from January 1, 2019.
Agrarians discussed the main innovations of the Law on a single array of lands and lands of collective ownership, which came into force at the beginning of this year.
In addition, participants were talking about the All-Ukrainian land valuation of land - how to prepare for it, and what risks it causes to agricultural producers.
They also discussed the inefficiency of state support for the agrarian sector, foreseen by the government in 2019. Particular attention was paid to subsidies for the maintenance of bovine cattle - why in the current year, the implementation of this program has been allocated less money than the previous one.
Agrarians also talked about the development of cooperation in Ukraine, touched on issues regarding the need to equalize the tax burden and combat the shadow market of agricultural products in Ukraine.
