Until October 9, in the system of the State Agrarian Register, you can submit an application for receiving means of temporary storage of grain (sleeves) with a capacity of 200 tons. 30,000 sleeves will be distributed with the participation of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraineю
The project is implemented with the support of the Canadian and Japanese governments, as well as the Australian charity Minderoo Foundation. Applications are submitted using the State Agrarian Register.
Agricultural producers can receive polymer sleeves:
natural and legal persons who cultivate land on the territory of Ukraine, except temporarily occupied ones;
the area of land of official cultivation (owned or leased) from 100 to 10,000 hectares.
Basic requirements:
the usage of received sleeves is exclusively for storage of self-grown products;
land should be located at the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine;
independent transportation of sleeves from warehouses in your region or in the neighboring region (from Dnipropetrovsk - for agricultural producers from Donetsk, Luhansk or Zaporizhia regions, pick up from Mykolaiv - for agricultural producers from Kherson region).
After processing and analyzing all received applications, the participants will receive confirmation of assistance through the register, and will also be notified of the address of the warehouse for independent transportation of sleeves to the territory of the agricultural sector.
In addition, FAO and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy will hold an introductory webinar where farmers will be able to ask any questions regarding registration and participation in the support program.
Date and time: September 28, 2022, 3:00 p.m

Reminder: Due to the limited export of agricultural products, in July, Agri Council appealed to the government to cancel the tax on the import of polymer sleeves and tent-type silos. Rates on these goods ranged from 6.5 to 10 percent of their customs value. On July 27, the Verkhovna Rada supported this initiative.
