Leaders of new UTCs - new knowledge

Today in Uman at the basis of UAC a meeting of Chairmen and secretaries of the united territorial communities (UTC) of Cherkasy region with people's deputies took place. Chairman of the subcommittee on administrative-territorial organization Vitalii Bezgin and Chairman of the subcommittee on land relations Artem Nagaevskyi were the participants of the meeting.

The following issues were discussed with the People's Deputies:

• legislation in the field of self-government;
• a new bill on local state administrations;
• delimitation of powers and their resource provision;
• approval of the optimal local governments structure;
• appointment of headmen;
• transfer of property from the district to UTC level;
• formation of social and economic development program of the community;
• budget formation for 2021;
• UTC education reform.

The participants of the meeting also visited the Ukrainian Agrarian Lyceum, where they were acquainted with the unique educational model of the institution and talked to students about the benefits of studying there.

According to the latest data, 22 UAC participants headed UATs in 12 regions of Ukraine. 199 UAC participants became deputies of village and settlement councils in UAC. 57 UAC participants became deputies of regional councils and 42 – of district councils.
