The third and final exhibition the Clash of Agrotitans have been taken today in Kyiv region. More than 400 units of machinery on 50 hectares of fields and more than 1,500 visitors were gathered on the fields of LLC “TAK-Agro” in Stepove village of Tetiiv community (Bila Tserkva district).

Speaking with a welcoming speech, the UAC Chairman Andrii Dykun mentioned the exceptional importance of the agricultural sector in the state's economy:

"The Ukrainian agricultural sector is phenomenal because it is profitable. In America, Europe, agriculture is subsidized. They take money from the budget, and we give it to the budget. And indeed, the agricultural sector is one of the pillars of the state's economy and independence. After all, 48% of the state's foreign exchange earnings are from the agricultural sector. 17% of the state's GDP is provided by the agricultural sector. Therefore, I would like to hear more often from the authorities about the recognition of the farmers’ merits," the UAC Chairman said.

The “TAK-Agro” Chairman Ruslan Holub greeted present participants and mentioned the importance of such events as places where agricultural producers can see equipment on the field, communicate and get new impressions.

Agricultural producers are the driving force of the national economy. People's Deputy Oleksii Ustenko emphasized this statement.

"They protect the Ukrainian countryside and create workspaces. Contrary to the weather, COVID-19, without asking for state support, they always do the impossible!”

As part of “The Clash of the Agrotitans”, a meeting of agricultural producers with the UAC’s team took place. As always on the agenda - the most essential issues of the agricultural sector and the UAC’s work to solve them.

The UAC Chairman Andrii Dykun acquainted the participants with the legislative initiatives of the association. In particular, the work on the bill 5600, which amends the Tax Code of Ukraine, and the bill 5202-d, which aims to develop irrigation in Ukraine and is currently a priority for the parliaments’ consideration.

The UAC Deputy Chairman on Tax Policy Olha Bohdanova spoke in details about the innovations in taxation provided the bill 5600. The expert explained how the minimum tax liability provided by the bill will be calculated and which payments will not be included. She also mentioned that if the bill is adopted, the minimum tax liability provided by it will have to be paid according to the results of 2022, and penalties will be applied for violations.

The executive director of the First Ukrainian Agricultural Cooperative Oleksandr Buiukli talked about the prices for fertilizers, fuel, grain and the benefits of cooperation with the cooperative.

Ruslan Golub, the “TAK-Agro” Chairman mentioned that farmers should unite for a common goal:

"Perhaps the only industry that works rhythmically and successfully today is agricultural one. It is clear enough that they want to raise taxes for this sector. That is why we have to work together and problematic issues must be solved with our participation. "
