Vice-Chairman of the UAC Mikhail Sokolov was included on the Ukrainian Bussiness Council (UBC) TOP-10 candidates to be included in party lists as representatives of national business interests list. Mikhail Sokolov divided the second place in the recommendation list with Yaroslav Romanchuk, President of the Association of Ukrainian Businesses in Poland. In the first place - President of the Association of Taxpayers, ex-ambassador of Georgia to Ukraine Grigol Katamadze.

Candidates for possible deputies were selected on several criteria. Among them: successful experience in drafting or advocating bills or implementing reforms, experience of successful public work, expertise in the field of regulation or development of one of the branches of the economy.

However, in the case of the inclusion of candidates for party lists, some of the political forces and their passage to the Verkhovna Rada, the UBC puts in front of its delegates a number of stringent requirements for work. The first is to steadfastly pursue the implementation of the TOP 10 business priorities developed by UBC. To this end, it is necessary to submit the relevant bills, as well as vote for other bills aimed at implementing the TOP 10 business priorities, to actively work among the deputies and the leadership of the factions in order to support the necessary bills.

The delegates also have a task to honestly and responsibly fulfill the duties of the People's Deputy: to attend all plenary meetings of the VRU and the profile committee, not to leave the session hall of the VRU, to participate in all voting. At the same time, proxy votes and participating in meetings of the VRU or the specialized committee appointed in violation of the rules are not allowed to delegates from the UBC.
