The Ukrainian Business Council, one of the founders of which is the Ukrainian Agri Council, and the "Servant of the People" political party, have signed the Declaration of Intentions on Reform in Ukraine, in which the parties agreed to work together on sustainable economic development of the country.

In particular, modernization of Ukraine in all spheres of public life should be based on key principles: termination of the oligarchs, unshadowing and demonopolization of the economy, decentralization of power, deregulation, tax liberalization, and e-governance.

Thanks to the Vice-Chairman of the UAC, Mikhail Sokolov, a number of important issues for the agrarian sphere were included in the Declaration, in particular: the fight against shadow land lease, equalization of the tax burden per hectare and land reform taking into account the interests of small and medium-agrarian businesses.

The Chairman of the UAC Andriy Dykun emphasized that the land reform will be reflected in the interests of all market participants, and in the small and medium business - the most.

"Today, most people say that the land market will be open and this causes concern among agrarians. Ukraine loses its domestic investor. Agricultural producers, instead of investing in development, are waiting for the launch of the land market. Everyone thinks that almost the next day after the election, the land market will be introduced. Therefore, I have a request that, after your political power comes to Parliament, you reassured the farmers to work," said Andriy Dykun.

Dmytro Razumkov, the head of the "Servant of the People" party, assured that the statement about the immediate launch of the land market, which was scattered in the media, is nothing more than a manipulation of the words of the President.

"The President said that opening the land market is necessary, but did not say that it will be done immediately. To do this, we have to do quite complicated and systematic work. To begin with, we need to create a normal legal basis, protect the interests of the state, the interests of the owner, the interests of the investor, and then open the market. We are currently working on drafting relevant bills. Our task is to make land owners able to use it. On the one hand, it is necessary to protect national interests, and on the other - the owner. Another very important point - we still do not understand in whose hands and how much land there are. It is about state lands. Unfortunately, no one can answer this question. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an audit. And this is a great deal of work. Unfortunately, our opponents used the words of the President during the elections in order to gather votes. However, the President's position on this issue is absolutely correct, but nobody said that this will happen in July or August," said Dmytro Razumkov.

The UAC welcomes the readiness of the political party "Servant of the People" for a dialogue on solving the most urgent issues of the country's agrarian sector.
