The Ukrainian Agrarian Council continues to meet with agricultural producers from different regions in order to discuss the most urgent issues of concern to the domestic agrarian sector.

Today, June 12, the leadership of the UAC met with farmers in Zhytomyr Region.

During the meeting, the main focus of the meeting was on land issues, in particular the topic of avoiding mistakes during the execution of lease agreements.

Agricultural producers have expressed support for the intensification of the transfer of land management right to united territorial communities. In their view, land management will be more effective as it minimizes corruption risks, will increase the efficiency of land management, and lead to a deeper decentralization process. In addition, manufacturers noted that the NONtransfer of land to communities is hampering the registration of new lease agreements.

Another important issue for discussion was the protection from raiding.

Also agrarians touched on the theme of the struggle for the abolition of the infamous "oil amendments".

The meeting was attended by 32 representatives of agricultural enterprises.
