The Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) conducted three workshops for agricultural producers on changes in legislation for the agrarian sector. The lecturer was a practicing certified auditor, a partner of the Crowe Horwath AC Ukraine Olga Bogdanova.

On January 31, the first workshop was held in Khmelnytsky, on February 6 - in the city of Dnipro, and on Tuesday, January 12 - the final in Uman. The participants were provided with relevant analytical materials, case studies on practice of auditors and judicial practice.

In the course of the measures, farmers learned about changes in the Tax Code. In particular, the mandatory details of the tax invoice, the right to lease in tax accounting, accelerated tax depreciation, currency regulation, rates of local taxes and fees in 2019. Also they talked about changes for the 4th group of single tax payers, the taxation of personal income tax and VAT.

In terms of wages, it was about fines for violating labor laws, new reports on social insurance, etc. In addition, farmers have learnt about insurance in the agricultural enterprise, changes in the calculation of penalties, debt relief and new requirements for the storage of documentation.

Other important topics for discussion were subsidies for farmers: their accounting, changes in the order of financial support by the government; as well as an analysis of the current situation and projected changes in land legislation in 2019, and much more.

Thanks to farmers who have come to an interesting and substantive discussion of topical issues.
