The Committee on agricultural matters of the the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania has considered the draft law No. 6527-d "On Agricultural Cooperatives", initiated by the UAC and in the development of which the Association took an active part. They noted its high standart and professionalism.

This received the head of the UAC Andriy Dykun in an official letter, signed by the Deputy Chairman of the Seimas Committee, Kazys Starkevieius.

"We consider the draft prepared by you being of a high standard. We have to admit that in some cases it is even better than the corresponding Law currently in force in Lithuania", the letter reads.

We thank the agrarians and deputies for the support of the bill. We hope that in the near future it will be accepted in the second reading.
