Due to seasonal character of milk production, milk prices are steadily increasing although in a slow pattern. The latest price monitoring has shown a slight increase in prices for all grades especially in Grade I.

Grade Extra increased to 10.16 UAH/kg (+0.06 UAH), Higher Grade — to 9.73 UAH/kg (+0.03 UAH), and Grade I — by 0.08 UAH up to 9.17 UAH/kg. The average price for all grades added 0.06 UAH and was fixed at the level of 9.69 UAH/kg.

There were differences in Grade Extra milk prices depending on the regions: in the western regions — 9.80-10.0 UAH/kg; in the eastern ones — 9.9-10.2 UAH/kg; in the northern part on the country — 9.90-10.5 UAH/kg, in the South — 9.90-10.5 UAH/kg, and in the central regions — 9.90-10.40 UAH/kg.

The situation with the recovery in the near future is unlikely to change significantly, still the growth of milk prices will be observed within the seasonal trend but won’t be as fast as, for example, last year.
