On June 26, the annual meeting of the First Ukrainian Agricultural Cooperative (FUAC) took place, where the participants discussed the results of the last year and outlined plans for the next.

Among the issues raised were the provision of sustainable financial development of the cooperative and the attraction of grants and technical assistance from the EBRD and other international partners, the 2020 strategy and the solution of the problem of providing farmers with fertilizers at fair market prices.

According to the Executive Director, Alexander Buyukli, such meetings are traditional and allow them to work more efficiently and result-oriented, since all members of the cooperative take an active part in discussing and resolving urgent issues.

 Certificate. First Ukrainian Agricultural Cooperative (FUAC) is a multifunctional service agrarian cooperative. The FUAC was created within the framework of the Ukrainian Agri Council on March 23, 2017. The cooperative unites in its ranks 74 farms in 12 regions of Ukraine with a total land bank of more than 200 thousand hectares.

The main task of the cooperative is to help commodity producers to mobilize their efforts and to obtain benefits available to agroholdings in the implementation of large consignments of grain or consolidated procurement of fertilizers. In addition, FUAC helps its members to develop infrastructure, attract funding from international financial institutions, increase the profitability and competitiveness of agricultural producers.
