Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Ukraine Alisher Khabibullayevich Abdualyev and Commercial Attaché of the Embassy of the Netherlands Carolyn Spance visited Uman today, August 10, at the invitation of the Ukrainian Agricultural Council (UAC).

The delegates got acquainted with the activities of the UAC, the Association of Pig Producers of Ukraine, the Association of Milk Producers and National Sugar Association of Ukraine "Ukrtsukor", and talked about possible ways of cooperation.

During the meeting with Mr. Ambassador, the sides discussed issues of providing UAC participants with fertilizers of Uzbek production and export of Ukrainian sugar to Uzbekistan, agreed on the organization of joint activities and the development of joint projects between Ukraine and Uzbekistan in the field of dairy and meat cattle breeding.

In addition, Mr. Ambassador visited the Ukrainian Agricultural Lyceum (UAL), created on the basis of the UAC and familiarized with the domestic education system.

Meeting with the Commercial Attaché of the Embassy of Holland was devoted to the possibility of deepening the projects of the Ukrainian dairy sector. The parties discussed the possibility of involving dairy experts from the Netherlands to conduct trainings and seminars in Ukraine to enhance the skills of our employees, to establish cooperation and exchange experience with the leading dairy cooperatives in the Netherlands.
