Today, on October 15, the Ukrainian Agricultural Council (UAC) met with farmers in the Kherson region in Nova Kakhovka. During the meeting UAC discussed with the farmers the problem of spreading raids in Ukraine.

A considerable attention during the meeting was devoted to the recent armed attack on Andriy Fedorenko, the head of “Slavuta Yug” LLC, which operates in the Kherson region and is a member of the UAC. This attack, which caused Fedorenko to get a gunshot wound in his back, was a continuation of the raider capture, of which business agrarian suffered for more than two years.

According to the results of the meeting, representatives of the agrarian business of the Kherson region signed and sent an official appeal addressed to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with an appeal to take personal control of the investigation and publication of the results of this case, to help establish and punish the customers and perpetrators of the crime. And also take all measures to prevent the occurrence and spread of raider cases in Ukraine.

In addition, the participants listened to how to maximally protect yourself and your business from the raiders. Also, it was about the activity of the security company "Haydamaky", created on the basis of the UAC in 2017, the main purpose of which is to secure the participants of the UAC from the unlawful seizure of business, land and harvests.
